A stunning French 18th-century directoire commode. The original Italian marble top has a shaped edge and circular corners, capping the fluted columns below.
Three long drawers are fitted with our favourite Directoire handles, flanked by fluted columns and raised on brass-capped conical feet, known as toupie feet, in the manner of a spinning top.
