French Poster

We purchase these large 1500 x 1000 (sometimes up to 2m) posters, and Debo's dad (a genius framer) float mounts them for us.

We drive him mad. Most large posters are stuck down to canvas (devalues them) and framed: they cast a shadow to the edge of the poster, and it's a stunning effect.

This 1983 Celebration of Peace is a captivating work, clever in its metaphor, and wonderful that it is hanging landscape.
