My adhd means I rocket along and make the odd mistake buying, but this wasn't one of them. I thought this was a 1920s Jacobean-style table, but as it turns out, following a quick trip to the restorer in NZ, it is the real deal.
A Jacobean, George I side table of front-to-back quality. Quarter-sawn oak drawer liners, bobbin mouldings and geometric fielded panels surrounding the original pierced swan-necked handles, gun-barrel turned legs and a stretcher for support. Just perfect.
