George II furniture has almost no decoration - it stands or falls on its proportion - and this piece epitomises that plainness.
Straight, tapered legs support a simple, straight-fronted table with a single drawer. The only details is in the fine, cock-beaded drawer and the pair of original brass swan-necked handles.
The top is beautiful quarter-sawn oak, and the entire tables has a wax finish and the unmistakable patina of age.
