Empire Floor Lamp
Purchased in Brittany, this is not Empire period (they didn't have electricity then) but in the manner thereof, using capitals and mounts that you might find on an Empire commode.
Black French polish finishes the look. Rewired to NZ/AU standards, and has a Vaughan Designs lamp shade from the UK: could be called the Coalition of Nations Lamp!
