Katrina has chosen a very expensive linen to go on this - OK, it's a very nice chair, but....
Seriously, this is not a reproduction: this is French, period Louis XV - the real thing.
The frame timber oozes patina and feel. Probably walnut, probably from the 1770s.
Very nice.
