This Louis XVI bureau plat, or flat-topped desk, has the original leather top inlay with side-extending brushing slides, one long drawer flanked by a bank of two short drawers - each drawer is fielded in brass and adorned with Louis XVI key escutcheons, the entire desk is raised on turned and fluted legs. So Iconic!
