Empire Occasional Table
The right way, the wrong way, and the French way!
This ebonised table from the early 1800s is very nice.
Josephine might have arranged her flowers on this while Napoleon was away at war. The table comes with an Italian marble top over a plain ring supported by three graduating columns and strengthened by a cartwheel-shaped stretcher base.
