This is our favourite Refectory Base Table. We had the original in 20 years ago, when we were able to template it to create a pattern.
On a visit to France, I sourced some beautifully seasoned oak from an old antique dealer. The planks come 800x3m long. While we have timber available we can make the table tops to any size by using timber slabs in the centre and cleating the edges.
At 3.2m long, this table looks amazing. It can sit five people down each side.
Our furniture maker builds and assembles the tables, Lawrence our polisher finishes them in the colour of your choice.
