Swedish Commode

Just perfect, purchased on my most recent trip to Sweden from a wonderful old dealer who lives halfway up the road to Gothenburg.

(he used to fly Saab Vigens in the Cold war- scary!)

Anyway, we are awaiting a set of 6 Regency-style handles to complete the commode's restoration.

Three long drawers with fluting and ring handles are raised on Gustavian feet and finished in Nordic grey over Swedish red.

Excellent.
