An Ebonised Bureau Plat
This would have sold years ago except Katrina was using it for her desk and wouldn't let me photograph it!
So, here it is. A fine French Bureau Plat, its legs lengthened slightly, so your knees clear the drawers.
The drawers comprise one slim central drawer flanked by two broader drawers.
The outer two drawers have Regency ring handles. The inner drawer has a Louis XVI key escutcheon.
A lovely distressed black paint finish.
