Pair of Swedish Commodes
This is what I go all the way to Sweden to buy. I fly into Denmark and cross the Øresund Bridge into Sweden, before going way up north to find these pairs of Gustavian chests of drawers.
Three-drawer dentil-moulded Gustavian commodes with Regency ring handles and escutcheons.
They are raised on Gustavian tapered feet, the corner chamfers being the finishing touch.
Perfect proportion and the supreme bedside chests.
