Louis XV Commode
This French oak Louis XIV is not period and needless to say it is not tens of thousands, but it has the look, grain, patina, and style of a period Louis XIV commode. Two moulded short drawers sit above two longer drawers, all with brass handles and escutcheons.
The corner styles of the commode are rounded and raise the chest above the ground in that Louis XIV manner.
A quality French oak piece with exposed mortice and tenon joints. Priced to reflect its age.
