Ancient English Oak Coffer

Very plain and perfectly formed first period or earlier, quarter-sawn oak coffer.

The coffer's front has three fielded panels. It sits on style feet, which means the feet are an extension of the coffer's frame.

The only embellishment is the railway track boards between the three fielded panels.
