18th-Century Commode

20 years ago we were in Nantes and tried to buy this commode. On our many visits since then we have made the owner offers, none of which he would accept.
Finally, finally, our patience was rewarded. One cold day last December, he was closing for the day, hadn't had any customers and, well, sometimes after 20 years you get lucky.
The absolute real deal 18th century commode with three short drawers over three long drawers, all with brass fielded panels. Tapered legs, original ring handles and key escutcheons complete the picture.
Just marvellous!
