Tall French Commode
These chests are generally called semainier, because they have seven drawers. This commode only has six drawers but they are veneered in beautiful burr walnut.
So, a drawer for every day except nude Sunday!
The shaped top drawer (Saturday) opens with hidden handles. Monday to Fridays' drawers open with a key to fit the cast escutcheons.
