Jacobean Oak Coffer
A stunning Jacobean oak carved coffer with a four-pannelled top.
Each panel is cut from a quarter-sawn oak flitch, each divide is a writhing shaped mullion. Just the patina and colour of the top makes this piece very special.
The coffer's four front panels are carved in the Jacobean manner.
