French Empire Commode
From the early 19th century and so typical of the French Empire Period.
This commode's thick marble top sits over four drawers. The plain top drawer is supported by two brass-topped columns, which flank the three lower drawers, with their lovely brass knobs and key escutcheons.
Katrina has given this old commode a modern twist by choosing a eucalyptus-coloured paint finish.
