My favourite Directoire handles adorn this perfectly proportioned Directoire bureau plat. Its two short drawers flank one long brass bound drawer with an original key escutcheon.
Tapered legs with brass lined inserts are a lovely feature of the desk, as is the colour of the desk's leather, also featured on its two brushing slides.
