Small Ebonised Bureau Plat
A fine ebonised French bureau plat of small and pleasing proportions. The fine fluted Louis XVI legs terminate in cast ormolu feet crested with laurel leaf and darted mounts.
The desk's single drawer has fielded fine cast brass rope moulding, original brass knobs and ornate rococo key escutcheons.
We have inlaid the desk with a new gold embossed black leather to complete the look.
