French Empire Daybed
I have had this in storage for so long, but I just knew it would be good when Katrina chose some amazing fabric for it. Beautifully upholstered, this comfortable, 200-year-old two seater will complement both a modern and classical interior. The frame is water gilded over a red gesso base, giving a translucent appearance on the smooth surface and gold appearance on the finely carved fluting. This piece is photographed against one of our new wallpapers.
