Louis XVI Armchair
I would love to tell you this chair is one of a pair, but I bought it as a single piece because of its length- it's great for the long-legged among you.
I told the upholsterer when he had finished that it was about time he got something right! He is an outstanding upholsterer but I am very picky.
This is the most comfortable Louis XVl fauteuil in the world! It is tall, the seat is deep and the back cushion is just right.
The frame is finished in Gustavian grey. The fabric is a grey and white linen stripe, and the upholstery is finished with double piping.
