Large Georgian Terracotta Garden Urns

These are the real deal! 18th century terracotta planters. They belonged, for many years, to an English antiques dealer. She moved them from one home to the next until they could no longer be accommodated.

They are wonderful, the sort of thing you see in a London saleroom for 15,000 pounds.

Classically inspired Georgian urns (795mm) on stands (475mm), making them over 1250mm high. I sat in one of the photos to give an idea of scale (could do with a better model).

The egg and dart top rim is so crisp. The urns' waists are decorated in a grape leaf pattern with the egg and dart moulding reappearing on the urns' bases.
