Jacobean period coffer, three panel top and three pannelled front with Jacobean carving. Patina, Colour & proportion .... a very tidy package! With original legs, they are often trimmed, quarter sawn oak, exhibiting excellent medullary ray formation helping to date this coffer to the mid 1600's.
