George III Chest of Drawers

A super, period George III chest of drawers. This piece is unusual as it has four long drawers in graduating sizes (each is deeper than the drawer above). The top features a 5cm band of mahogany edged with ebony, and each drawer is framed by a 5mm band of ebony. The drawers have replacement brass swan-neck handles, and the whole sits on classic bracket feet. Overall this chest of drawers has a beautiful simplicity about it, with clean, straight lines and elegant detail that would fit well with either modern or classic interiors.
