Chest of Drawers /Coffer

Perhaps the oldest French commode/coffer in the shop.

This chest has a lift-up lid, opening to a coffer interior, ie the two top drawers are faux, the bottom drawer opens.

In England they would refer to this piece as a Mule chest. In France - I have no idea. Period Louis XlV feet and a shaped skirt support.
