Terracotta Planter

Please enquire for price

Years ago, I bought this in Brittany, then it went missing and now it's turned up in the latest container.

A fantastic early terracotta pot or urn fashioned in Norman or Saxon style.

Our resident expert tells us that it is possibly a sarcophagus with its medieval bear hunting scene including attendants in the forest.

Mr Loosely of Antiquities has a large late Roman mosaic with a similar scene.

690mm(W) x 220mm(D) + feet x 260mm(H) + feet
