An Austrian railway mirror from the days of Thomas the tank engine. This was mounted on a pole so that Thomas could see round the cornor so he wouldn't be hit with the big express train coming quickly around the platform.
In those days they need mercury to make the mirror, so have wonderful crystalised finish.
