Decorative Mirror

Be very careful moving this rope-edged oval mirror.

Probably French/possibly English. 19th century.

In thirty years I have never seen another mirror like this one.

The original mercury plate glass has a couple of scratches - leave them! The frame is water giided.

An ornate rope crest is attached to the top of the mirror, it even has rope tassles. The bottom of the mirror has a simpler rope decoration.
