Small Coffer

NZ$2,250

I suspect this is Anglo-Indian because it is made of teak, not oak or walnut.

Built in the British manner, with three fielded panels on the coffer's front face and typically Georgian mouldings around the panels, but the Georgian bracket feet have an Anglo-Indian interpretation, being more decorative than you might expect.

The piece's joinery indicates it dates from the late 18th or early 19th century.
