Burgundy Bombe Commode

Beautifully proportioned - I think it is French, but the quality and marble suggest it could be Italian.

A salmon-coloured Italian marble sits above three graduated serpentine-shaped drawers each with brass ormulu handles and key escutcheons.

The drawers are flanked by ormulu-mounted bombe supports and legs.

Finished in a black overglazed burgundy paint.
