Serpentine Fronted Commode

A Swedish Gustavian-grey serpentine-fronted commode in the Louis XV manner.

Gustav lll returned to Sweden, bringing with him influences from the Court of Louis XVl, thus beginning the Swedish furniture style movement.

This commode has three drawers, with excellent handles and escutcheons, and a marble top with a painted faux marble finish.
