Two Drawer Side Table
You won't believe how old this piece is! I think it's Period Louis XlV. I date it 1790, in case someone really clever comes along and says it's made by Monsieur ???? in 1780, but it could be as early as 1690.
It is stretcher-based with four non tapering legs and a cleated chestnut or oak top.
We have fitted contemporary pierced handles, in the manner that this piece would have had originally, and photographed it with two French hats.
