Gustavian Painted Cabinet

This Gustavian painted cabinet has shelves and three drawers. Gustav XVth was at the court in France, wining and dining with Louis XVI in Paris and in Versailles, when his Dad died. This meant he had to go back to Sweden where he made himself some very nice pieces of furniture, surprisingly called Gustavian. This  included this very stylish cabinet, ideal for keeping his stereo and computer equipment and especially for Skypeing Louis XVI up until 1792 when the Swedish equivalent of the GCSB, who were listening in said Louis XVI was a traitor and they cut his head off. After that, Gustav had little use for this cabinet and we are lucky to have this in stock here in New Zealand, So if you need a very attractive Gustavian cupboard with two doors and three drawers .... with an attractive paint finish and a very dubious provenence to put your "equipment" in ....
