French Walnut Period Louis XIV Commode
An exquisite French walnut period Louis XIV commode purchased in Brittany. On trips to France I purchase tables and bureau plat that sell and keep my restorers paid. Occasionally I purchase something beautiful, historic and generally French, not worrying too much about the economics of it all. This serpentine fronted solid carved chest of drawers is one of those pieces and one of the best in the shipment.
