Painted French Bookcase

This bookcase was originally imported by John Stephens Antiques 15 years ago and has now been refinished with an old white glazed paint finish. it has been reassembled by Weatherby, our bookcase man, who said he would go to the eventual purchasers house to install it. Currently on display in the conservatory at John Stephens Antiques, this beautifully painted, backless bookcase on dresser base is a Louis Philippe period piece from 1820 and the row of drawers would make it perfect for a kitchen or dining room.
