Gendarme Topped Mirror

When John has run out of things on his list to buy he can never resist another Gerndarme topped mirror. It is like Georgian simplicity only French. These understated mirrors have plain moulding (all french mirror are ornate) with a simple string of inner beading. This particular one has engraved water gilding with black highlights and the original mercury glass, new mirrors are silver, which creates a sparkling reflection.
