Crown Topped Louis XIV Painted Armoire

Armoire from France are often 2.5m - 3m tall and don't fit into most of our homes. This gorgeous piece, of small and pleasing proportions, stands at just over 2m tall so it will fit anywhere.
 
It is a Louis XIV style, late 19th century, solid oak armoire with two doors with fielded panels, Louis XIV carved feet and foliate cornice in the gendarme manner. Other features include original iron hinges and escutcheons which are very striking against the armoire's Gustavian white with an ash overglaze finish.
