You need to stand back from these chairs to realise that they are perfectly proportioned. In France you can look at more than fifty frames before finding a pair of chairs with such fantastic proportion, crisp carving and excellent colour. Spectacularly comfortable. 

The chairs are French or possibly Swedish and carved in the Louis XIV classical manner. The frames are finished with grey and Gustavian white highlights.
