New Zealand Colonial Dressing Table with Mirror

Our distinguished expert William Cottrell rates this an exceptionally fine piece, even if somewhat out of fashion. Classic Auckland pattern but a superior example with complex mirror supports, possibly by Nicholas Black (K-Road), a Romanian immigrant. The piece itself is most likely by Tonson Garlick or maybe Winks & Hall. The nickel handle design is likely to be from Wyman & Sons (London).
